My name is Jennifer Moeller and I am a speech-language pathologist who specializes in working with children who have language-based learning disabilities such as dyslexia. I also have a husband and two children with mild dyslexia. I do not claim to be an expert in “all-things-dyslexia” and there are countless aspects of reading and/or dyslexia that I simply do not understand. At the same time, I am in a position where my education and personal experiences have provided me with an opportunity to help other families. I feel the frustration from parents as they try to navigate everything from obtaining an accurate diagnosis to securing therapy that does not break the bank to just surviving the day. This blog will be a platform to provide knowledge, information, and materials that I use and/or have created. My sharing of this information is a public service and nothing more. You should not consider my opinions or blogs as professional advice but rather as a friend who is imparting her knowledge from life experiences.
My family and personal clients come first and foremost. I will attempt to update this site and provide as many links, information and materials as possible. Also, feel free to visit me on Facebook where I hope to create a more personal group of support and sharing among families. Please keep in mind, however, that I am only one person.
